Downtime is coming

This Friday I'm going to migrate Astrodon.social over to a new hosting provider. This is a reasonably complex task that will need the site to be brought down for (at least) several hours whilst the database and media assets are moved to their new home.

The downtime will start around 13.00 CEST Friday, and I hope to be finished by 19.00 CEST. However, this is one of those processes that may not go according to plan, so please allow for downtime to last until 13.00 CEST Saturday. If by that point the migration isn't done I'll recover back to the existing hosting and defer to a later date.

Astrodon.social residents don't need to do anything (except have patience!), though out of an abundance of caution you may wish to request a backup of your account here: https://astrodon.social/settings/export
